The Affordable Care Act (ACA) mandated public release of payments to physicians by pharmaceutical and device makers. The intent is to help consumers understand the financial relationship with manufacturers. This could aid identifying potential conflicts of interest. After an 18-month delay, the data is now available on the Open Payments website. However, the site is unfriendly and the data only covers a few months.
