From November 15th through February 15th is open enrollment for Americans to change plans or renew plans under the Affordable Care Act (ACA).  Mary Agnes Carey provides an overview of the process for individuals and businesses. The other task is to assess and track effects of the recent elections upon changes to the ACA, both short-term and  long-term. James Capretta addresses these in his blog "Health Care Policy After the Mid-Term Elections" posted at Health Affairs on 11-7-14. He notes sufficient votes to override a veto are lacking.
