AMERICANS WAIT LONGER & SPEND MORE TO SEE DOCTORS

Americans wait longer for an appointment to see a primary doctor and pay more out-of-pocket for health care than people in 11 other industrialized countries.  Americans do get into see specialists sooner. These and other facts were published recently by the Commonwealth Fund in Health Affairs.
