Dr. Sam Metz, a supporter of Health Care for All Oregon, recently reviewed John Geyman's book How Obamacare is Unsustainable:  Why We Need a Single-Payer Solution for All Americans. Metz notes that Geyman confirms the Affordable Care Act (ACA) is an impediment, not a path, to better health-care. This is largely due to the ACA agenda being set by medical-industrial stakeholders coupled with complex financing. Geyman's solution is a national health-care plan with single-payer financing and not-for-profit delivery. Single payer reflects American values, including choice, equity and integrity. Metz finds that Geyman respects his readers. LEARN MORE in full review "An Effective Prescription for Our Failing Health-Care System" posted by Truthout on 4-10-15.
